Name: Laurence Garey Date: 08/07/2015 Message: In 2010 I posted several requests for information about Flt Lt John Booth Stephens, whom I knew in the 1950s when he flew Lincolns at Upwood. I was unsuccessful, although Tom Ainsby sent me a photo of him stuck in Singapore with a u/s Lincoln. Then just a few days ago, having seen my request on the net, his daughter contacted me. Sadly he died just recently, on 25 June 2015, aged 89. So I just missed meeting him again. His daughter, Linda Ingledow née Stephens, has allowed me to inform the Association. I have a great interest in the 7 squadron as my great great uncle was a serving member of the 7 squadron and part of the mission on the 21st June 1943 in one of the aircraft for a mission to Krefeld in Germany.
